QWorks Zero

Talk to your quality operation in your own words.

Zero lets you query all of your quality processes in plain language. It answers with the records behind the answer, proposes the action needed and opens it only with your approval. The language model runs on your organisation’s own servers; your data does not leave.

How it works

Ask. See the source. Approve.

Zero is not a chat window; it is a working layer that reaches the whole quality operation through language.

  1. 01 · Ask

    In plain language

No command syntax or report screen. You ask in everyday words, using a case number, customer, part, supplier or process name.

  2. 02 · See

    An answer with sources

Zero searches complaint, audit, work and evidence records together. The answer is tied to every record behind it; one click takes you to the source.

  3. 03 · Approve

    Action with your approval

Where needed it proposes an action: an escalation, an audit, a corrective action request. When you approve, it opens within your permissions and is written to the audit trail.

A conversation with Zero

One question. Every process. One answer.

The conversations below show step by step how Zero thinks: which records it searched, what it relied on and what it proposes. Pick a scenario; approving the action is up to you.

Conversations are representative; record numbers and figures are examples.

Every quality process

Your question knows no module boundary.

Zero is tied not to one module but to QWorks’ shared backbone. Complaints, audits, work, due dates and evidence come together in the same question; as the platform grows, so does what Zero can see.

  • Across modulesSee a complaint together with the related audit finding, supplier history and open work in one answer.
  • With enterprise contextCustomer, part and lot context from ERP, MES and PLM is part of the answer.
  • Grows with the platformWhen a new module is switched on, Zero queries its data in the same language.

You stay in control

Zero proposes. You decide.

An AI that can take action is trustworthy only when its limits are clear. Zero’s limits are written into the product.

  • No action without approval

Zero never opens, changes or closes a record on its own; it proposes and waits for your approval.

  • Only your permissions

Zero uses the data the person asking can see through their role, and proposes only actions within their permissions.

  • Every step on the audit trail

Approvals given and actions opened through Zero are written to the normal audit log.

  • No answer without sources

Every answer shows the case, finding and work records behind it; one click takes you to the source.

Who asks what

Every role, its own question.

The same Zero answers according to the role and permissions of the person asking.

Shared platform capabilities

On the same backbone.

Zero is not a separate AI product; it runs on the work, due-date, evidence, permission and data backbone QWorks Complaint uses today. Everything it sees comes from this backbone.

Frequently Asked

Questions about Zero.

The questions to ask before bringing AI into the quality operation.

Does our data leave the organisation?

No. Zero’s language model runs in your organisation’s infrastructure, together with QWorks. Questions, answers and quality data are not sent to external AI services.

Does it need an internet connection?

No. Zero runs on a closed network, without an internet connection.

Does Zero act on its own?

No. Zero only proposes. An action opens when the user who asked approves it, and only within that user’s permissions; every action is written to the normal audit trail.

How do I know the answer is right?

Every answer shows the case, finding and work records behind it; one click takes you to the source to check. An inference not grounded in a source is not presented as an answer.

Can everyone see all data?

No. Zero uses the data the person asking can see through their role. A record they have no permission for does not appear in the answer.

How should I phrase questions?

In everyday language. You can use a case number, customer, part, supplier or process name; no command syntax or report definition is needed.

Does it learn our terminology?

Zero can be adapted inside your organisation with your terminology and records. The adaptation stays inside your organisation, together with the data.

When will it be available?

Zero is in development and we make no date commitment. Organisations in the Design Partnership Programme get early access to evolving modules.

What would be the first question you ask your quality operation?

Let’s review your priority quality process together and talk about what Zero would make visible in your data.
