QWORKS COMPLAINT · CUSTOMER COMPLAINT AND 8D/CAPA MANAGEMENT

Customer complaint and problem-solving operations.
From record to evidenced closure, on one platform.

QWorks Complaint runs the whole process — from receiving the customer complaint through 8D/CAPA and root cause analysis to executing actions and verifying effectiveness — with the discipline of ownership, deadlines, evidence and escalation.

The problem is not missing records

Quality records are digital.
Running the work still depends on people.

The complaint may sit in the QMS, production data in ERP or MES, product data in PLM, and the evidence across different document systems.

But who will do what, when will it be finished, how will a delay be escalated, and with which evidence will closure be verified?

In most organisations this operation still runs on e-mail, Excel, meetings and personal follow-up.

QWorks does not add one more record system to your landscape. It runs the quality operation that falls between the systems.
What changes

A deadline is not merely recorded. It is actively managed.

QWorks turns the customer deadline from a passive date field into managed work. It tracks responsibilities, interim deliverables, SLAs and risk signals, and brings the right people in before a delay occurs.

The aim is not only to close work on time, but to make the cause, the owner and the impact of a delay visible so that intervention becomes systematic.

Delays become visible before the customer does.
Every piece of work has an owner and a deadline. When risk rises, the system brings in the relevant people and starts the required escalation.
Evidence is ready before the audit.
Decisions, actions, approvals and verifications leave a trail during the operation. When an audit arrives you are not trying to gather evidence after the fact.
Closed does not mean completed.
Completing an action and verifying that the problem was actually solved are kept separate. The process does not advance to closure until the required effectiveness checks are done.
Preventing recurrence becomes systematic.
Root causes, the actions taken and the lessons learned become organisational memory. When similar problems appear again, the organisation does not have to start from scratch.
How it works

Not a single record, but an operation run end to end.

QWorks Complaint manages a customer complaint not as disconnected records and tasks, but as a single operation with a beginning, owners, decisions, deadlines, evidence and closure criteria.

01
Receive the complaint and establish context
Customer, product, problem, the relevant standards and the operational context are created together with the first record.
02
Solve the problem with discipline
8D/CAPA, root cause analysis, containment and corrective action steps run through defined methods and requirements.
03
Never leave an action unowned
Every action has an owner, a deadline and an expected output. Late or risky work becomes visible through the required escalation mechanisms.
04
Verify closure with evidence
Decisions, approvals, evidence and effectiveness checks are recorded throughout. Closure becomes a verified result, not merely a status change.
Your systems stay

It does not replace your existing systems.
It runs the quality operation that falls between them.

ERP, MES, PLM, QMS and document systems continue to do their jobs and hold their records. QWorks does not try to take their place.

QWorks manages by whom, on what date, with which decision, with which evidence and through which control mechanism the quality work will be completed.

It is positioned not in place of the systems of record, but where the operation is missing.

QWorks platform vision

Complaint today.
The goal is the whole quality lifecycle.

QWorks starts today with customer complaint and 8D/CAPA operations. The platform vision is to bring Audit, FMEA, APQP, PPAP, SPC, MSA and other quality processes onto the same operating model over time.

Each process may differ. But the basic operational questions do not change: Who is responsible? When must it be finished? What evidence is required? Who must approve? What happens if it is late?

PLATFORM VISION
Quality Lifecycle Management
The QWorks platform approach that unites quality processes on a shared operating model.
QWorks unites this shared execution model under the Quality Lifecycle Management — QLM — approach.
Designed from the need in the field

How the quality operation actually works, before software logic.

QWorks is built at the intersection of quality management experience and enterprise software, process engineering and operations design.

The platform’s process design draws on more than twenty-five years of quality management experience and on real customer complaint, problem-solving, audit and action management practice.

The aim is not to move an existing quality form into digital form, but to redesign how quality work is run.

One Complaint Challenge

Instead of a demo, let’s start with a real complaint of yours.

Tell us about a customer complaint you handled recently. Together we will look at how QWorks structures the same case, how it manages responsibilities, and how it carries the process through to evidenced closure.

You do not need to share sensitive customer or product information. We can work through an anonymised case.

Frequently Asked

What people ask before the first meeting.

Five questions that make the positioning clear.

Which QWorks product is available today?

The current focus product is QWorks Complaint. It manages customer complaint, 8D/CAPA, root cause analysis, corrective action, action tracking, escalation, evidence and effectiveness verification within a single operation. The other quality areas are part of the wider QWorks QLM platform vision.

Is QWorks a QMS?

QWorks is not a QMS in the classical sense. QMS solutions play an important role in managing quality records, procedures and compliance requirements. The focus of QWorks is running the operation that forms around those records: who is responsible, which action must be completed when, what evidence is required, who must approve, and what happens when there is a delay. For that reason QWorks can sit alongside your existing QMS rather than replace it.

Do we have to replace our existing ERP, MES, PLM or QMS?

No. QWorks is not designed to take the place of existing enterprise systems. Those systems remain the source of their own records; QWorks manages the running of the quality operation that falls between them.

What is Quality Lifecycle Management (QLM)?

QLM is the approach of managing quality activities not as separate applications but on a shared operating model. In the QWorks QLM vision, customer complaint, Audit, FMEA, APQP, PPAP, SPC, MSA and other quality processes share common mechanisms such as ownership, deadlines, evidence, approval and escalation.

Which organisations is QWorks designed for?

QWorks is designed above all for manufacturing organisations where customer complaint and quality operations run across more than one team, system or location, and where deadline, audit and traceability pressure is high.
