Assessment programme
What is EYDEP?
Industrial Competency Assessment and Support Programme
In 30 seconds
EYDEP is a programme in Türkiye aimed at assessing and developing the capabilities and capacity of organisations in the defence industry ecosystem. It is not a quality standard but an assessment and development programme; refer to the official EYDEP source for its current process and scope.
How does it work?
- The organisation’s capabilities are assessed against defined criteria.
- Assessment results make development areas and actions visible.
- The finding → owner → deadline → action → evidence → verification chain requires follow-up.
Often confused with
EYDEP and AS9100
EYDEP is a capability assessment programme; AS9100 is a quality management system standard.
Common mistakes
- Tracking post-assessment actions in scattered lists.
- Trying to gather evidence on assessment day.
From a QWorks perspective
The finding, owner, deadline, action, evidence and verification chain is close to how QWorks works; this use grows stronger as QWorks Audit develops.
